this is truly one of my most impressive pieces! i built this halfpipe in blender a day or two ago and i began to realize how the gradient effect of the back halfpipe wall was similar in appearance to the gradients that are commonly abused by noobs in flash. (you know what i mean if you've ever visited the submissions section of the ABS forums...) The truly amazing feature of flash is its amazingly small format. while all other formats record the color of individual pixles in a grid, flash stores the data into individual mathimatical formulas to represent each of the lines or fills. for example, if you have the formula y=2x then in those few bytes you could have a infinately scaleable 60 degree angle line. This description is 801 bytes, over twice the size of the vector halfpipe.
